Luxury Barbados Villa Near Holetown

Our experience at Blue Moon got off to a great start with the very helpful team at Paradise Rentals. We were travelling with 4 adults, a 9 month old baby and a 3 year old so we had a lot of logistical questions that Karen always answered promptly and patiently. Upon arriving at the airport we elected to use the service that meets you to take you through customs and it was well worth it given we had the kids and how much luggage we had. Karen made sure the house had a crib and high chair for our baby. The house was surprisingly kid friendly, but also very nice for the adults. The house is well located right across the street from the Fairmont Royal Pavillion beach which you get access to while staying at Blue Moon. The beach access was fantastic and we spent every morning at the beach with the kids. The house itself was an ideal layout with 4 large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a nice interior dining space, interior living space, great front veranda that's covered and has a dining table for el fresco meals. Having the pool and deck on the side of the house was also a great feature and we spent all of our afternoons there. The house had books, games, very reliable wi-fi access and a full kitchen which we used for most of our meals. A special shout out to Shonette for keeping the house immaculate. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to have a great vacation at a beautiful home that offers close access to Holetown, Speightstown, the beach and a pool.

Blue Moon is like no other house I have ever stayed in. From walking through the door, every aspect of your holiday has been thought about very carefully. I really do not know where to begin with what we liked about this house, therefore I shall keep it simple and say EVERYTHING. We had to force ourselves out of the house to spend time on the beach (which incidentally is just across the road), because we felt so comfortable and at home inside and on the beautiful veranda. Shonette, the housekeeper is wonderful and kept everywhere so tidy and organised, nothing was too much trouble for her. Karen and the Paradise Rentals team are extremely efficient and you certainly do not need to have any worries about trusting their judgement and leaving everything in their very capable hands. Blue Moon is one very impressive property that is in an excellent location for most things. We loved the place so much, we tried to book for the following year, before we had even left. Thank you so much for making Christmas and New Year 2019 – one to remember.

An amazing place to stay, Blue Moon had everything you wanted during your stay. Plenty of space whether you are a family, friends or couple, I would highly recommend the Blue Moon. Just a short walk away from the beach it is fantastically located. Karen is a gem to liaise with in terms of rental and for any questions relating to any other facilities during your stay.

Blue Moon…what a house! Perfect for families, very spacious and impeccably clean throughout, it took our breath away. Karen, our rental agent ensured check-in and check-out was quick and easy, and also organised an extra cleaning mid-stay for us – thank you. The Fairmont Beach Club membership was awesome, but lunch service can be slow, so order early. We had such an entirely enjoyable vacation.

Our recent holiday at Blue Moon villa was flawless. We recommend the villa very highly if you want to stay on the west coast. It is well located near to Holetown with excellent access to the beach (beach club membership). It's a superb villa with everything you need.

Blue Moon villa is an outstanding, really well equipped rental villa. It is just as described on the web site. You are safely tucked away inside the gated cul-de-sac of Pavilion Grove with 5 other similar properties. Just a five minute stroll to a lovely beach and the beach membership at the Fairmont Hotel. It had everything we needed. The cleanliness was impressive. 5* hotel standard accommodation with a fabulous BBQ!

Five of us stayed at Blue Moon for Christmas. It’s an amazing villa in a quiet, secure development. There was plenty of space for us all and it’s furnished to a high spec. We had all we could wish for. We made great use of the BBQ. We loved spending the evenings on the veranda; chatting and eating. We very much enjoyed the Beach Membership at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion Hotel which is just across the road. We went to the beach everyday and used the sun beds and umbrellas and a very much appreciated 10% discount on our food and drinks. We would highly recommend Blue Moon. Thank you to the owner and the Property Manager (Karen) who made our stay perfect in every way.

Blue Moon is just as it’s shown in the photos on the web site. It’s beautiful and really well cleaned. We’ve stayed in rental villas in many countries but his was the best. There was every thing we needed and more. Spare pillows and blankets, towels and beach towels, detergent and soap etc. We loved the activities cupboard with board games and jigsaws. the beach membership was great and really close by. Help from Karen arranging airport transfers was really appreciated. We had a fantastic week and particularly enjoyed our trip on the boat with Scott, thanks for introducing us.

What a beautiful, luxurious and comfortable house in a fantastic location! Blue Moon is a very spacious and stylishly decorated home, with a lovely shaded front porch and a sunny decked garden by the pool with sun lounges and umbrellas enough for everyone. The huge open plan room downstairs, which is a combination of living, dining and kitchen areas, is very well equipped and furnished, while all the bedrooms upstairs have superb bathrooms with walk-in showers in three of them and a big family bathroom in the fourth. The house is set in a very pretty gated road, which is secure, private and peaceful. It is only 5 minutes’ walk from the beach at Alleyne’s Bay, which is great for relaxing, swimming and snorkelling. The shore at this beach even had its own residential green turtle for a couple of days when we stayed, which was amazing! It is easy to explore the West Coast from there, with all its wonderful beaches and restaurants. All the other tourist spots around the island are also within a short easy drive, as the island is not very big.
We were very well looked after by the Paradise Rentals Agency and its staff, and would like to thank them for their efforts to make our holiday run very smoothly.

Blue Moon was wonderful house. Really clean and well set out. Perfectly located near to the Fairmont Royal Pavilion and with the benefit of beach club membership – one of the west coast’s’ most gorgeous beaches. Thanks Karen you were extremely responsive throughout our stay, we loved Blue Moon and hope to return.

This is our third time staying at Blue Moon and would book again anytime we plan to return to Barbados. Karen and her team are super service oriented and we have never been disappointed. We have stayed with a large family group twice, including small children and this last time was “girl’s vacation” for four. The house is maintained extremely well, has everything you need to enjoy a comfortable vacation including wi-fi, maid service and the chefs that Karen recommends are amazing. We spent many mornings on the front porch with our coffee and in the afternoons enjoyed some sun on the side deck/plunge pool. The beach passes are a great perk, grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and other services are just a few minutes drive from the house. I have booked many vacation homes around the world, and Blue Moon is one of our top experiences….highly recommend it.

It’s simply stunning both in what the place offers and where it’s located.

Blue Moon is situated opposite the Fairmont Pavillion which the provided beach pass allows you to use the sun beds and the beach. It’s also very near Holetown in one direction and Speightstown in the other
The villa itself is so well equipped and beautifully designed. Each of the four bedrooms are large with their own bathroom. Everthing has carefully designed interiors and outside furnishings.

Once again we had the good fortune of being able to stay at Blue moon over the Christmas period which makes our stay so special because we’re familiar with the island its a great base for us to move around and visit people and places, and as we have meet a number of people on the island who have become great friends. another wonderful pleasure was going into Holetown on New year’s eve and partying with the local’s and then down onto the beach for midnight to watch the many fireworks all the way along the coast giving us a truly spectacular start to the year, and finally I was able to join a local yoga school for a number practice session’s which were very good.

Excellent villa!! Perfect location with close proximity to all amenities: restaurants, bars, supermarket, beaches, bank/ATM and shopping centre. The villa is within walking distance to the Royal Fairmont Pavilion hotel and passes were provided for us to use their beach facilities.
The villa itself was absolutely fantastic, it has beautiful decor, great wifi, cable/Apple TV, air condition, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and a wonderful pool/outdoor space.
The staff were very friendly and accommodated all our needs. Special thanks to the owners/management and the lovely housekeeper Shonette who made us feel so welcome.
My family and I could not say enough good things about this villa, it was just superb and we would definitely stay here again and would recommend this to anyone looking for an exceptional place to stay in Barbados.

Our family of six adults spent a very enjoyable week at Blue Moon. The weather was perfect and HOT. The complete air-conditioning of the villa and the beautiful pool were very much appreciated.

Blue Moon is outfitted with top of the line appliances, linens, towels, video entertainment system, wifi, etc. and just about every beach game, several masks/snorkels/flippers and even blow-up toys for young children. We really valued the complimentary passes to the Fairmont beach chairs and umbrellas – we used them every day before and after touring the island or visiting distant beaches like the Crane and Bathsheba.

We have been to Barbados several times before and we are pleased to report that the Bajans are still some of the most friendly and welcoming people in the world.

All-in-all, Blue Moon provided us with a secure, 5-star base to experience Barbados; and nothing was too much trouble for Karen and her team, who were always available and very responsive.

Blue moon was exactly what we were looking for. Only 5 mins walk from the beach and removed enough from the hustle and bustle of Holetown, this villa really allows you relax, unwind and soak up the Barbadian sun.

From the moment we stepped off the plane, we were looked after. We had someone meet up at the airport who helped us bypass a multi hour wait through passport control. Then a taxi waiting to take us directly to our accommodation.

The villa itself has an ideal layout with four separate bedrooms each with a private bathrooms. All the rooms are spacious and air conditioned. The kitchen is fully furnished with every appliance you could possibly need. The property also has all the latest mod cons including flat screen tv, wifi and DVD. Outside, there is a pool and fabulous bbq and two deck areas which allow for sun lounging and al fresco dining. The villa is situated in a small private estate which is very quiet. Both the estate and villa were very safe secure and the other residents were friendly.

Holetown, the closest town, is only 20 mins walk away. Alternatively the bus, which stops just outside the estate gets you there in 5 mins. The bus is an experience in itself. Holetown has a large grocery store and a variety of restaurants and shops. The beaches in holetown and next to the villa are beautiful – clear water, soft sand and perfect for swimming or reading a book.

Some key highlights on our trip included dinner at Tides and Lonestar, the polo, the animal caves and Silvermoon, a day trip on a catamaran with snorkeling, swimming and lunch. We found both locals and fellow travelers super friendly which really allowed us to enjoy our holiday.

We will rush back here without question!

Blue moon is an absolutely beautiful house on the west coast of the island close to the Sandy lane resort and complex. It is a large 4 bedroomed detached house in a gated and quiet road with every amenity provided. There is an outdoor area with an excellent barbeque and small pool, and it is a short walk to some of the best beaches on the island. The house is in wonderful condition with a well equipped kitchen and 4 large bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. Karen and her team provide an excellent service.
There is a wealth of fantastic trips and restaurants nearby. I would particularly recommend booking dinner at Tides and a day’s boat trip aboard the Silvermoon catamaran prior to the holiday.

This was a return visit to Blue Moon and, as with the first visit, we loved the house. There is everything you could want/need and Karen and her team are great! The house is well appointed, very well maintained and very comfortable. We had a large family group again, with 9 of us from infant to seniors…. everyone enjoyed our vacation time and hope to return again to Blue Moon. The beach passes at the Fairmont were appreciated and even the rental car service the Karen arranged for us was superb. We highly recommend Blue Moon…. We have stayed in vacation home rentals from Europe to the South Pacific. Blue Moon is one of favourites!!

When we get two moons in a single month we use the expression of a Blue Moon, this doesn’t happen very often and that’s what you’ll find if you stay at this wonderful house. It is furnished to a very high standard and tastefully decorated and was so special for us and our friends. We would often sit on the veranda playing backgammon late into the night, then in the morning it was so easy to access a wonderful beach just across the road with complimentary sunbeds and umbrella’s, a small bar with casual dining available all day, sports facilities on the beach and the great staff of the Fairmont Royal Pavilion. This was all available to us with the beach club membership cards generously provided by the owners of the house.

There’s a small pool at the side of the house great for a cool down, the kitchen is a good size and a member of our group produced some excellent cuisine’s. It is also very easy to access the nightlife and the shops of Holetown which is a gentle 15min walk.

We would also like to say a big thankyou to Karen at Paradise Rentals, who was able to give us so much help. Definitely a five star house.

wow what a perfect location. We were greeted by our lovely house keeper to a clean well equipped villa tastefully decorated with great soft furnishings. Plenty of space to spread the family out. We will definitely return.

The property at Blue Moon is tastefully decorated, high quality and in excellent condition. It makes you want to look after it for everyone else to enjoy. It is in a superb location in an incredibly quiet secluded road with absolutely every detail of catering for yourselves at the villa having been thought of down to the last detail. The barbecue is a bonus that you will constantly use for breakfast and dinner complemented by the plunge pool to cool off after an enjoyable day at the beach. The front verandah is absolutely perfect to have breakfast and dinner…… Truly idyllic surrounding. The membership cards for the hotel across the road and use of the beach and facilities is a truly brilliant thing and it takes about 3 minutes to get there from Blue Moon…… All of the staff involved in running this villa are professional, helpful and friendly…… We are planning to return as soon as possible and definitely before the end of 2016….!!!!

We have been to Barbados for 8 years and have spent 3 of the years at pavilion grove. There are 4 couples and we can’t ask for any better accommodations. The front porch and plunge pool is great to cool off after a day at the beach. The capabilities of being able to just walk to the beach at Royal Pavilion is a plus. We have rented a van as we traveled all over the island but also have used the public buses for the Friday night fish dinners. Only negative comment I would have is nothing to do with the Blue Moon but walking to Holetown is sometimes a little scary as the traffic is fast and close as there isn’t always side walks to walk on. The rum punch is a great drink and as many times as I have tried to make it at home, isn’t as good. Plan on gong back year for sure!

What a lovely villa. Perfect location for the beach and having the membership cards for the Royal Fairmont pavilion was a real bonus. We booked Lone star for 3 nights well before we left the UK which I would highly recommend. Used the yellow reggae buses daily and everyone friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Missing the rum punch already. Thanks

Really cannot fault this villa . Everything about it is a class above what you would expect in a rental property. Location is great for beach, walks and if you dare the reggae bus! We went as a family of 5 and hope to return next year with the rest of our family . The porch area at the front of the villa is fabulous, we spent so much time out there. It is private safe exceptionally clean and well maintained, I almost don’t want to post this in case it’s full next year!

We stayed here (4 adults, 2 kids) from February 27 2016 to March 4 2016. The villa is very comfortable and in a nice location. There are 3 bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms on the second floor and one bedroom and full bath on the first floor, a nice kitchen and living room. The best aspects of house are the patio and pool (which was great after a long hot day at the beach and something our kids very much enjoyed). The house is equipped with wifi and a tv (netflix), the latter of which was used pretty sparingly. The housekeeper (Shonette) visited a few times to change linens, etc. Overall, I would highly recommend the property particularly for family vacation purposes.

This was our second visit to this beautiful villa in Barbados. Blue Moon is one of six private residences situated on a private road which is gated and secluded. It is moments away from some of the best beaches on the island and is such a relaxing property.
The villa is furnished with taste and has every convenience that one would hope for from oven, gas barbecue, superbly comfortable beds and much more. It has a home cinema with access to films and the furnishings are luxurious but comfortable too.The housekeeper also comes every other day during the week to keep the place clean and sparkling.
The villa is situated in beautiful surroundings just north of Holetown on the West Coast. You have easy access to what ever takes your fancy. Whether it’s simply relaxing on the veranda or going further afield to explore.

We went as a couple to this villa. The greeting and transfer were faultless as were the departure arrangements.
The villa offers spacious accommodation for 4 couples or a family. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of fridge space and large sitting room + dining table.
Good Wi Fi connection with on line TV. The air conditioning is very effective supplemented by fans for those who like a breeze. 20 minute walk to Holetown or local bus service (a mild white knuckle ride). Tennis courts for hire in centre of Holetown. Good choice of dining in Holetown for example Tides, Beach House and Nishi or within walking distance of the apartment the Lone Star or Sea Cat (bit more local). Access to the Royal Pavilion beach area across the road is ideal, much less their rum punch which we considered the best after considerable sampling research. A car is essential if you want to tour the whole island but major towns can be reached by bus which is no slower than by car. Local drivers were courteous.
Take an unlocked phone(s) and use the local mobile service “Flow” which was reliable and cheap.
Of the gardens, Hunte’s was the best and of the houses we visited St Nicholas’s Abbey was great.

We we are now back home after enjoying an excellent week at Blue Moon.
The accommodation was first class, the proximity to a safe and beautiful beach, as well as good places to eat, meant that this was a wonderful place to spend a week.

We (family with two kids 6/9) enjoyed this great place for 10 days this summer. Perfect location on the West coast (where you wish to be) in a secure and quiet gated development to enjoy your holiday. Very close (walking distance) to fantastic beaches at Alleynes Bay (turtles!) and great restaurants like Lone Star or the Royal Pavilion and only a short trip to Holetown with its amenities. Don’t look further if you wish to have a perfect holiday in a spacious and a very well equipped house. The standard is extremely high and it is delightfully maintained by its owners so that you will feel at home instantly. We can highly recommend this house for your holiday and very much look forward coming back.

We returned on 13th March having spent two weeks in Barbados. This was our second holiday with Paradise Rentals. This is a large property, well appointed and in a very convenient location. The outside decked area at front of the property we thought fabulous and used exclusively to eat. We also liked the pool area and barbecue. The pool is small but ideal for small children, and with the beach so close worked well.

We have just had two wonderful weeks at Blue Moon and can’t wait until we get a chance to come back! The property is luxuriously well appointed and feels like someone’s home rather than the usual holiday villa. It’s situation in a gated private road, the light and airy feel of the house, the wide front veranda with unfettered views, the leafy side veranda with loungers and plunge pool, the nice home cinema system with all conveniences like Now TV and Apple TV are all so geared for relaxation, it is a wonder we left the property at all … but when we did, it never took us long to get anywhere. The sandy beach with calm Caribbean waters is a 5min leisurely stroll away, Holetown (with posh shops, restaurants, a supermarket that sells Waitrose products) a 5 min drive south, Speightstown (really nice, laid back, with several good restaurants and a local supermarket) a 10 min drive north and other great options like Bathsheba on the East Coast, Saturday Horse Racing at Garrison Savannah or Fish Fry at Oistins no more than a 30 min drive away. We can’t rate the property (and the whole package provided by Paradise Rentals) highly enough.

Amazing property in a great location; our trip was great because of the villa. It’s a beautiful home with all the furnishings we wanted; the ensuite bathrooms for each bedroom was helpful, and the location was outstanding. We’ll definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Barbados!

A really beautiful, comfortable house in a fantastic location. Would have given 10 stars if possible! Easy to explore the West Coast from here, with all its wonderful beaches and restaurants. The house is set in a very pretty gated road, which is secluded and peaceful. It is only 5 minutes’ walk from Alleyne’s Bay, which is a great beach and superb for snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. Blue Moon is a spacious and stylishly decorated home, and the verandah and decked garden with pool are delightful outside spaces to enjoy. It is a lovely place to be, and we were well looked after by our helpful housekeeper. With three children (one teen, one tween and a ten year old) we did appreciate the large amount of space the house has to offer, both inside and outside. The open plan living, dining and kitchen areas are great, and all the bedrooms have super bathrooms with huge mirrors, walk in showers in three and a big family bathroom in the fourth. We had a terrific holiday, and this is a really super house that we enjoyed staying in very much indeed, and felt extremely fortunate and thankful to be there…it’s wonderful – highly recommended!

Having booked Blue Moon for a group of 6 of us, I was cautiously nervous of managing expectation but all nerves dispelled upon arrival. Fabulous villa in a great location, Just outside Holetown, access to many west coast beaches, bars and restaurants that we frequently made use of. Would recommend Paradise Rentals for efficiency, great housekeeping and friendly approach. We will definitely return sometime in the future.

We absolutely loved this house and really didn’t want to leave! Beautifully furnished, with lovely comfortable sofas and beds, my husband, my 2 children and myself had a wonderful 2 week stay at Blue Moon. The beach (Alleyne”s Bay) is literally a 5 minute walk away, and although we explored other beaches, ‘our’ beach was our favourite: not too busy, great for safe swimming and snorkelling (we saw turtles!) . The house itself has 2 lovely outdoor lounging areas – one with superb plunge pool, loungers and BBQ (there is a beachside fresh fish stall a short drive up the road – perfect for the BBQ), the other out front with comfy chairs and dining table where we breakfasted with hummingbirds! The owners had thought of everything – both comfort and facility wise, and the agency and maid service looked after our every need. I would definitely recommend this property, in its quiet gated cul de sac, so close to the sea.

We have recently returned from paradise – Barbados is a wonderful place to go to on holiday. To also stay at the private villa named Blue Moon, makes it an unforgettable experience! It is the most perfect place to stay and relax. We travel the world and stayed in Blue Moon 2 years ago. We so love this villa that this year we have arranged our holiday around its availability. It is superbly furnished and has every amenity, including a friendly housekeeper who comes in everyday, except Sunday, to allow you to just get on enjoying your holiday. The villa is located in a superb location, in a small, quiet, pretty 6-villa gated community, just about 1.5 km north of Holetown, on the West Coast with all its good restaurants, beaches and facilities. It has 4 distinctively different bedrooms, 3 are en suite, with large comfortable beds. The decor throughout is modern and very luxurious. It has its own pool, with deck chairs, sun beds and a barbeque for your use. It has also a covered veranda furnished with an armchair and rattan and glass dining furniture where you can enjoy light dining while being out of the sun. The local agents are on call 24 hours a day so will be on hand to help if there is a problem. They can also arrange car hire, tickets to local attractions, venues, concerts, tours etc. We did not use them for any of these but they did keep in touch with us regularly. The West Coast is one of the most sought after destinations in Barbados, particularly since it is also near prestigious golf courses at Sandy Lane and The Royal Westmoreland, and also the polo and other events at Holders and Apes Hill. But even closer still is the wonderful beach just across the road where you can just relax, literally swim with the turtles very close to the shore, and then enjoy a well earned drink and snack at one of the beach bars. And then of course are all the other attractions on the island all of which are easily accessible. Everything is just tailored to make it the perfect holiday, but the real anchor to making it so special is this wonderful villa. It is such a relaxing house to stay in; and it really is home from home while you are there. We would recommend it as a base for anybody, be it a group of friends, a family or just a couple wanting to relax in immaculate surroundings. Thank you very much – that’s just what we did and had a wonderful time. It really was a most comfortable base to enjoy a really memorable holiday!

I wanted to take a moment to tell you what a great experience we had with the house and the staff (including yourself). We have stayed at many vacation villas from Europe to the Caribbean and central America. By far Blue Moon was the best service and certainly one of the best outfitted vacation rentals we have had in our travels. We loved Barbados also and do plan to return as there is much more to see and do that we didn’t get to do in a week.
