If you need a reason to be tempted to water-ski (or learn to water-ski), the gorgeous warm waters of the caribbean sea should be it.  No wet suit required, just walk into the sea, climb aboard your waiting speed boat and off you go.  Experienced instructors will teach you all you need to know.  You can even learn to mono-ski (on one ski).  For the more daring adventurer, the rougher waters of the south and east coast are the ultimate fun-zone for surfers, kitesurfing, parasailing and paragliding.
