Paradise Rentals is pleased to support The Barbados Museum in what is going to be a fabulous showcase of culture and heritage at the 2015 Crop Over CRAFT Works; which will take place on Saturday 06 June 2015.
There’s a lot to see and do so bring along the whole family for a great day out. As well as the CRAFT Works you also get to look around the museum itself. This year’s event will feature an amazing selection of artisans working in a variety of craft disciplines; home décor, ceramics, textiles, basketry, fibre crafts, woodwork, leather craft, jewellery and much more!
There is also a ‘Bajan Eats Station’ (food court), featuring local Bajan treats and delicacies (pudding and souse, pickled and fried sea-cat, conch, pickled lobster, fish cakes, grilled fish and much more). There’s a lovely Tea Garden in the upper courtyard. And still on the cooking theme, there is the Caribbean Cooking Channel which will include live taping of cooking demos and mixology.
As if that’s not enough, there is a Fashion Show, Guided Gallery Tours and a Literary Corner. You can take home supplies from the Farmers Market with 30 primary schools. The Villages at Coverley will be showcasing their homes and there will be designer talks with Denise Young Browne.
To keep everyone entertained there’s a DJ, and live music, plus a children’s zone with Great Kids Adventure, henna tattooing and face painting.
There’s really no excuse to miss out on this great day; admission to the event is just BBD$10 and children under 12 are free. BARP and Museum members only BBD$8.
Don’t miss out – come along and join in the fun and activities at the Barbados Museum .
