Sugar Hill Apartment

We had a fantastic two weeks stay at 209C Sugar Hill in December 2019! This was our fourth time in Barbados but first at Sugar Hill. The apartment was perfect for us with modern kitchen and spacious bed rooms, living room and veranda.. We loved the beautiful view from the veranda where we relaxed every day, had all our meals – and drinks at night. It was great to both have the opportunity to stay at the two Sugar Hill swimming pools and go to the beach (for us approx 15 min. walk). The included membership cards at Fairmont Hotel/beach was a great bonus and we enjoyed many sunny hours at the beach. We also used Sugar Hill’s spacious fitness room and the had many dinners at the lovely Carizma restaurant.

All we could have hoped for, spacious apartment with everything you could wish for included, and an excellent on site restaurant offering wide variety of dishes.

We really enjoyed our time here, and the view over the pool and gardens was beautiful. Thank you Karen for promptly responding to our little queries, and for introducing us to this brilliant vacation rental. We'll be back!

We had a very pleasant stay at Apartment 209C. The apartment is really lovely in a quiet resort with 2 superb pools and four new tennis courts. 209C is really well equipped with everything you need and well decorated. Our flight home was delayed and Karen was kind enough to allow us to stay in the apartment a few extra hours.

Having stayed at Sugar Hill two years ago it was an obvious place for a return visit. The apartment is in excellent condition and very well equipped, and the setting of the Sugar Hill Estate is perfect – great swimming pools and gardens, and the convenience of the Carizma bar/restaurant. And thanks to Karen for a helpful booking service!

We had one of our best ever stays on the island and wondered why we returned home!

C209 was the villa moved to after we extended our stay (We stayed at C210 originally), and this place was gorgeous! The vibe in the villa had very Caribbean feel, I adored it! Such a great view from the balcony and air-con in every room!
Can I also just say that the cleaner Shonette is amazing, she did such a fab job while we were there! And again Karen was wonderful in helping us extend our stay.
I loved every bit of this holiday and can’t wait to come back!

We were in Barbados for a family wedding. The whole experience was terrific from the weather, people, location and including the Apartment. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and the complex had lots of amenities was well situated on the island. The place was fully equipped and everything worked well. we had a really nice housekeeper in Caroline. To summarize we had a wonderful holiday and experience and recommend Sugar Hill- Apartment C 209 . Bruce and Heather Newsome

What a fabulous stay we had. The weather was fantastic, the blue sky, and the sea was lovely and warm. We loved the swimming pools at Sugar Hill. Memories made to last us a life time. Thanks to everyone.

This apartment within Sugar Hill Resort is a really great unit. It is ideally located within the gated community. From the balcony there are pleasing views of palm trees with the swimming pool in the background and the other attractive, Spanish style units of the resort. The apartment was perfectly clean and host Karen responded quickly to any questions we had. The beds are firm, which we prefer. Ample beach and bath towels are provided and the appliances all worked as they should. Shopping is available nearby in Holetown. The Fairmont Beach Club is great for those wanting time at the beach, we found the swimming pools worked best for our young family. Carizma, the on-site restaurant is fantastic (you must try the Curry dishes!). All in all it was an excellent experience and we’d love to return to Sugar Hill again.

C209 within the spectacular Sugar Hill west coast gated community is absolute perfection! It was our 3rd annual return visit to this amazing resort and we would come back again next year, in a heartbeat. The unit was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and well appointed. Beach towels, linens, bath towels, etc. were all available in abundance. The spacious and comfortable lanai / balcony overlooked the gorgeous gardens and one of the two super clean and amazing pools. Our housekeeper Carolyn was an absolute delight – so kind and friendly and such a hard worker, it was a pleasure meeting her! Our family of four played tennis and swam daily both in the two sparkling pools on the resort as well as in the breathtaking ocean / beach at the Fairmont Beach Club where the unit has privileges. We ate at Carizma on the Hill, the on-site restaurant, several times during our 10 day stay and the food, staff and service were incredible each and every time. The concierge and security personnel were also extremely conscientious, diligent and friendly helping us enquire and book other activities and restaurants on the Island.
As always, it was an excellent memory filled experience and we hope to return to the resort (and hopefully this unit!) again in 2019. Thank you kindly Karen and Carolyn!

This was our first trip to Barbados. We loved our stay in this lovely and peaceful apartment – C209! We loved the comfy beds, spacious balcony and access to two amazing pools. We took full advantage of the beach club where we spent most of our days swimming in the ocean. Sugar Hill Resorts is a beautiful setting and the perfect place to unwind. We can’t wait to return to Sugar Hill Resorts Barbados!

Our second stay at this well equipped apartment. We had a great time as always at Sugar Hill with the tennis, gym and pools. The beach club is also great. The apartment is very comfortable with everything you need for an enjoyable vacation.

Thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at 209C. We had a wonderful time, the apartment is super – we have booked again for next Christmas and New Year ! I must say that Carolyn is the nicest and most capable housekeeper we’ve ever had on the island. Thanks Karen.

Stayed for 11 nights in this nicely designed two bedroom/two bathroom apartment with access to the Fairmont Beach Club.
Sugar Hill is a great resort with good pool areas, tennis, security and decent restaurant. You do need a car as its off the bus route and you don’t want to miss out on the beach club.
Maid visits a couple of times a week which is all that is required, the linen is high quality including the beach/pool towels.
Had to contact Karen for a couple of things while we were there and she was very responsive.
Will definitely look to stay at this apartment again.

I recently spent a week at 209C Sugar Hill. A beautiful apartment , very well appointed and equipped. There are 2 large, light and breezy double bedrooms (Both with bathroom) leading onto a lovely large balcony. The pool areas were calm and relaxing and not over busy at any time of the day. Karen was extremely helpful and arranged a transfer upon arrival. We used the beach club at the Fairmont mostly early morning or perfectly timed for an evening sunset swim. We hired a car for the duration of our holiday and spent many of the days exploring Barbados and it was always a welcome relief to return to the beautifully naturally cooled apartment in the hills away from the dizzy heat of the coast – but indeed only a 5 minute drive from the East Coast and all it has to offer . I would most certainly recommend this complex and apartment.

We have just returned from 2 weeks at 209 – what a beautiful villa, so well equipped. We have stayed at the complex many times before and this is by far the best villa we have stayed in. The children thouroughly enjoyed themselves and we always find the small pool is ideal for them as it is not as deep as the infinity pool. Spago’s was great – the same as the ones in Holetown and ideal for the kids. Karen was extremely helpful before we arrived – organising babysitting and car hire – and was fabulous while we were there answering any queries we had. We have already enquired about using it again!

We stayed at Sugar Hill for 1 week before going over to the East coast for 2 weeks. What a wonderful apartment! It offers 2 very good ensuite bedrooms and is ideal for couples sharing. We had everything we needed and the apartment is very well equipped with high quality contents and fittings. The location is perfect and we found the garden areas and pools exceptional. We ate at the restaurant as well as cooking in the apartment. We were so happy and relaxed that the week just flew by! The booking process was very professional and Karen was always very helpful. We would not hesitate in using this apartment again and would highly recommend it to others.

We were recent guests in unit 209C at the Sugar Hill Estates. The apartment was clean and well maintained and offered all the amenities of home along with the perks of a resort. The grounds are beautiful and the luxury pool is only a few minutes away from the unit. We also appreciated the fact that the online pictures were a true representation of what to expect. The service we experienced during the booking process and throughout our stay was professional and friendly. We would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay while in Barbados.

209C at Sugar Hill. What a wonderful place. The setting is stunning. The resort was well looked after with tennis courts, gym and the wonderful infinity pool. The gardens were beautifully tended. Most importantly, the apartment – it was beautiful. It was luxuriously appointed with a great big balcony for meals, reading and enjoying a rum and coke watching the sun go down. The kitchen had all we needed. The bedrooms were beautiful. An abundance of beach and luxurious bath towels were provided. We enjoyed the lovely beach at Fairmont too, down the road. We will be back.

We stayed a week at Sugar Hill recently and couldnt have been more pleased with the apartment and the service. Comfortable, spacious and very well equipped, there’s nothing I would suggest you do differently. We will certainly recommend.
